Diversity often focuses on the differences of people within the workplace and society.

Inclusion refers to an individual’s experience within the workplace and the wider society to the extent to which they feel valued and included. Inclusion is the act of welcoming diversity and creating an environment where all different kinds of people can do well and succeed.

Diversity is what you have and inclusion is what you do. For an example, Having a diverse group is now not enough. Everyone has to feel safe and be encouraged to participate and share.
